Investigate with curiosity
Do not confuse symptoms with causes. Observe, measure and rule out hypotheses first.
About & contact
Laat Het Spelen is a developing workshop for professional music technology — built around analysis, transparency and well-executed technical work.
Why this workshop
Laat Het Spelen is being developed within an existing Dutch sole proprietorship. Behind the initiative is an experienced software engineer applying an analytical way of working to electronics, fault finding and professional audio and lighting technology.
The ambition is concrete: do careful diagnostic work, build visible hands-on experience and develop lasting relationships with people and organisations across music, recording, venues and hospitality.
The website will grow with real investigations, repairs and collaborations. Step by step, this will form a technical portfolio that shows how the work is approached and what equipment reaches the workbench.
Do not confuse symptoms with causes. Observe, measure and rule out hypotheses first.
Report an unfavourable or incomplete outcome honestly and in a useful way too.
With attention to materials, safety, verification and the lasting operation of the equipment.

Yes. Studios, venues, music schools, hospitality businesses, rental companies and retailers can enquire about equipment or propose a first collaboration.
The current focus is equipment diagnostics and repair. For broader audio or lighting projects, the workshop is open to technical collaboration.
